My Christmas was different.
It saw me newly widowed. I approach the new year with trepidation. But yet with the feeling that ‘I have got this’.
I do not post this for sympathy, but just to tell it like it is

Margaret, may memories sustain you through this very sad and difficult time, and may the love and support from your family and friends help to carry you through the time ahead. My thoughts are with you.

Rest in Peace, David.

Here’s wishing all associated with Accyweb a happy New Year. I hope that 2025 is a really good year for you.

(It would be better still if this site could be brought back to some of its former ‘glory’)

I was thinking that perhaps I should not have mentioned my status here in this thread…I do not want to dampen the New years greeting to everyone on here.
I wish all those who visit the forum, the very best in 2025. I hope the year is kind to you and those you love.

Dearest Margaret,
Sorry for your struggle and your loss.
Carry on fighting the good fights.
Somebody has to.
And when someone like you fights on, others will surely follow.
Only those of our vintage and life experience know what is at stake.
Sincerely,
-Joe

So sorry for your loss Margaret, sending you heartfelt condolences from me and Sparks. Your news has not dampened the New Year because we absolutely appreciate you telling it as it is, and hope that you continue to do so in 2025. Allow yourself to have good days and bad days, and accept the support of your family and friends. Above all, take care of yourself xx
