poundland actualy has some good deals

just got me some niquitine gum for £1.00 and it usualy costs about £3 elsewhere

they also sell condoms but its up to you if you want to put your faith in condoms bought from the cheap shop lol

yes its a must to check out when you visit the town. that and the charity shops. i always purchase clothes.:cool:

I remember before we had any pound shops in Accy and a friend in Peterborough showed me round the one they had. I thought it was terrific, all these bargains and all the same price. I got some lovely writing paper.

if you would actually look there are only 3 pound shops in the center its just that they are close to-gether.

Yeh thats very true Mez, just a shame theres not a huge variety of choice in accy n it was worse than that b4 they did the centre up.

actualy there ony 2 of them , pound buster or shrinker i think it is called has varying prices where as poundland and the one that used to be wh smiths is everything a pound

also another cheap shop next to netto :-)

Poundland, Pound Shop, Pound Shrinker and Pound Stretcher near Netto, you could possibly include others like Bootleggers which is like a pound shop.

Could be a good advert, to attract all these tourists that HBC's planning document talks about. what a headline "Why not visit Hyndburn....The Pound Centre of the North"

Could also have an effect on the coachloads that visit "Ossy Mills", or if HBC were clever, what a day trip " Ossy Mills" followed by "The Pound Centre of the North"

Might only be 3 pound shops but every other shop is a discount shop if you want anything of quality you have to go out of town. Being a petite size 8 only shop that caters for me is Dorothy Perkins oh and what a choice :rolleyes: . Even shops like Boots only stock mediocre make-up and all the way to Mothercare at B/burn for baby items but with Acornprofiles like that on www.upmystreet.com how could we ever interest shops of quality. In my opinion markets should be for bargain hunting and shops should sell quality items.
