Talking of cinema's of old, what about the new one, went recently with my kids costing me a small fortune n the snack bar there is well expensive n have lil choice certainly in popcorn....only having the sweet variety, would of loved butter or even salted to that as the sweet one plays havoc on my ole teeth:mad: My son hates popcorn n the crisp selection was limited so he opted for the sweets again very dear. i know the old trick of bringing stuff with u but one time i had to leave my treats behind reception as they wouldnt let me in with a shopping bag, flippin cheek!! maybe they should charge reasonable prices for snacks tho its bloody awkward bypassing it with younger kids.

Lettie and I went to Accy flicks just before Christmas. We were both shocked to see just how much the place has degraded. There was popcorn and other similar foodstuff stuck into the seat fabric; the carpets were filthy and one of the seats had the backrest broken off it, and the padding strewn all over the back of the auditorium. The staff just seemed to have a laissez-faire attitude. Needless to say, we won't be going back.
We much prefer the Printworks, in city centre Manchester.

Yeh the staff are very much like that dont seem to give a cr*p except for taking yer money, it has gone downhill a lot but for some of us dont have the transport to go elsewhere so its a case to make do unfortunately.

if u want to sneak in food bring a coat with big pockets

vue cinema is a total waste of time your better off going out of town

ive seem pirate dvds that have better sound and picture than vue cinema lol


didnt the origional owner face been bankrupt so hyndburn council bailed him out by buying it off him rather than shut it down

all that cinema has done is give teenagers aged between 13 to 19 a place to meet up and drink alchol

i for one will never take my kids to vue because i dont fancy the idea of walking my chilkdren through a crowd of drunken teenagers

very true Chav, its rare i go but as both my 2 asked to go for their birthday i had to oblige them plus i find travelling on public transport a nitemare if i've to out of town..... thank god for dvd copiers lol
