Stone Cold now that's a mans man drinking beer and kicking butt!!! I'm sorry but scuffling and fighting is what lads do best, they enjoy it, why do you think lads watch wrestling (and some of them never grow up lol)? Before wrestling and power rangers and other so called violent entertainment little lads used to go toe-to-toe in the playgrounds so who can be blamed for the bad influences there? |
Re: Sky viewing probs anyone?!!?!?
Problem is a lot of children dont know right or wrong n unfortunatley dont know diff between pretend n real because they have got parents whom teach em or have problems with parenting skills, tho look at the so called violence yrs ago n now its more extreme n acceptable to society nowadays n children are presumed to know its pretend but to them very real...speciallly to 5-7 yr olds.

Re: Sky viewing probs anyone?!!?!?
Thats it blame the parents again........
My lad had problems with kicking peoples butts at school as you well know and a school run by a bunch of women it's a problem!! Give him a male teacher which he has now and at last he's just a lad, doing lad things and gets into trouble when he deserves to be in trouble! |
Re: Sky viewing probs anyone?!!?!?
i tombstone my kids on a regular basis :D
i dont mind my kids watching it as they know the difference form real fighting and play fighting but when you get them exposed to story lines like the killing of litas baby and killing old people with sex i think its pretty much un needed and not suitable for children who just happen to be their biggest customers |

Don't think Lita's baby and the sex thing was shown during the day i'm sure it was only on at night |
Re: Sky viewing probs anyone?!!?!?
True point Tinks there is a big shortage of male teachers/role models these days in some schools....tho the policy at one particular school is very biased.

Re: Sky viewing probs anyone?!!?!?
One thing that winds me up is when parents buy games for their kids (like Grand Theft Auto, for example) then kick up a fuss, saying that it's too violent, etc, etc.
Duh - do they not read the packaging? Every single GTA game that has been made (yes, even the original GTA) carries an 18 certificate. The wording with the 18 says "Suitable only for persons of 18 years and over", and "Not to be supplied to any person below that age". |
