I like Eminem - I've got three of his albums.

Don't get to listen to it very much though - 2 kids under the age of 7, who repeat everything they hear...

What have you got on your desktop wallpaper?? I bet i can guess t*** :rofl38:

vorlon24 16-02-2005 17:49

Re: i must say..

You should have 2 profiles on your machine, assuming you have XP, of course.

It is possible to set up different profiles on earlier versions of Windows (did it on 98SE), but it's easier on XP.

So you could have a 'no sis' profile, and a 'sis visiting' profile, and password protect the 'no sis' one!!!

Sorted!

I haven't been to a tea dance or to Fleetwood......I might be one of those 'mouldy oldies' except I have a sense of humour(even on serious issues)......and if it is alcohol and drugs, make sure you share some out eh?
Anyone checked the Mr Ryan thread.....well the last few pages anyway!

I'm sorry if any offence was caused by this thread. It wasn't posted maliously we were just poking a little fun at the senior members on here and i'm sure you all can and will get us 'cheeky young uns' back :o . You know the old saying while the adults are away the children will play.....

pendy 17-02-2005 16:33

Re: i must say..

Oh you youngsters, leaving us oldies standing ...... except that you haven't thought how we got to be old and decrepit ..... Sex, drugs and rock'n'roll throughout the sixties, living with a mad artist on a narrowboat, Glastonbury, Stonehenge at dawn, Kings Road on a Saturday in the sixties, parties that went on all weekend ..... but what really bu*****d us was bringing you lot up!

Oh, and don't forget as we got older and more staid - Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, followed by the Kandy Box (ask me sometime) until 4 a.m., all night showings of odd foreign films at the Renoir, .....

Anyway, don't pass the Sanatogen just yet, personally I am more likely to have a dirty weekend in Paris than an afternoon coach trip to Morecambe .... join us at the Arden Inn, and you might be surprised ....

Have been to a tea-dance though!

Love it, Pendy!!

Although, as a 15 yr old in 1960, 25 in 1970, I am regarded as a typical child of the 'sixties.... But I don't know where I went wrong!!

I don't recall any of the excesses that my generation boast of... they somehow passed me by!! This, despite working in Night Clubs/Gambling Dens for much of that time!!

Maybe where I went wrong was in meeting the girl of my dreams in 1965... we're just coming up to the 40th anniversary of our first 'date', our 'ruby' is next year.

Surprising what a stable relationship can do to your memories!!

And a few grandchildren!!
