Mysterious lady/boy.

As a nosey person, it drives me mad, when you've posted something interesting, and l can't find out more about you. I go into profiles-** l'm wondering what witty creature thought to say this?** check in additional information- 6 May /Search engine. l want more! Some are great, mini novels. It pulls it all together for me anyway.

Re: Mysterious lady/boy.

In that case I'll update mine........have you looked if people have a blog too? Mine is painfully boring and seldom used.

garinda 28-02-2005 23:41

Re: Mysterious lady/boy.

OMG, It was your profile l checked to see what the heading was,[Additional information,] Yours is one of the best already!

Re: Mysterious lady/boy.

Slinky & Willow, two of the best & most informative thank you. The rest of you can copy their's as an example, l want you to write your own over the weekend, & hand them to me first thing Monday morning. That includes you Acrylic, & come away from those bike sheds, you don't smoke anymore!

:bingobang

garinda 01-03-2005 00:53

Re: Mysterious lady/boy.

Yeah l've checked the blogs, just started mine, it's hardly riveting. l hope A-b does one when he stops smoking, it'll make for interesting reading.

Re: Mysterious lady/boy.

garinda 01-03-2005 09:44

Re: Mysterious lady/boy.

LOL. l know. lt's a serious point l wanted to make, to see what other people thought about biographical details. l do find it interesting.
l also thought putting that thread heading, would get a load of lads out of the Stanley room. You mucky DEVILS.

Updated mine! :p

 yes me too just finished updating it

Re: Mysterious lady/boy.

Thanks you guys, it's yours that were filled anyway, but it'll be great to see 'em updated. Without being sexist, it always seem to be what l presume are men,[perhaps wrongly,] that just write a date,- no year, & how they got here Red's website.
I know in the great scheme of things, it's not very important, but l'm always fearful if you don't use it, you'll lose it.

Re: Mysterious lady/boy.

I don't have much in my profile, and I don't run a blog, simply because I don't want to.

I not trying to be obstructive, it's just how I feel.

Anyway, I am sure that Roy would much rather have 1,000 members with scant personal info, than 100 members with mini novels

garinda 01-03-2005 12:02

Re: Mysterious lady/boy.

True, it's about choices. Perhaps l'll regret not remaining more mysterious.

vorlon24 01-03-2005 12:08

Re: Mysterious lady/boy.

It could come back to haunt you, Garinda!!!

Identity theft seems to be a big thing again - it was in Which magazine, and mentioned again on Watchdog last night (I think!).

It is all too easy (apparently) to get hold of peoples' personal details and apply for credit fraudulently.

Re: Mysterious lady/boy.

I got the wrong idea as welll!:) I've plonked more info about me on the my profile thingy,I'm normally on Burnley Web but I come and haunt you lot from time to time, and if any of you come on BW please say hello!:)

garinda 01-03-2005 18:24

Re: Mysterious lady/boy.

This thread's title certainly got a few different chatters in. l might get done for soliciting! [Or false advertising.]

Re: Mysterious lady/boy.

Nice thread though Garinda,it inspired me to do a journal after I'd had a nose thru Lettie's and A-B's;I know for a fact that mine will be very run of the mill but I think it maybe therapeautic!

Hello wayneyboy1942, I'm sure your most welcome here, a little more going on and a few live wires to boot. Nice to have you with us. Whats Granny doing these days, is she not up our way?

garinda 02-03-2005 02:50

Re: Mysterious lady/boy.

Look forward to your journal Lindsay, don't worry mine like your's will be a run of the mill read, unlike A-b's, who has a nack of getting his point over very well! Mines going to be- ' had choclate for tea,' & a load of old waffle about my past life as a fashion whore!
I think there must be something wrong with me. lt's the same when l read a book, l have to keep looking @ the authors photo if there is one, & reading the bio. again if it's there. l must just be a visual person, it's the reason l keep going to the Gallery. Some off you, very dishy by the way! LOL!
