Wacko Jacko - will he walk free?

What do you think then, folks? What will be the verdict of the Jury - Guilty or not Guilty? The prosecution case is taking a pounding at the moment. Vote Now!

Money talks,Jacko walks!

Re: Wacko Jacko - will he walk free?

Guilty all those years ago! If he was innocent, he wouldn't have shelled out twenty odd million dollars in hush money to Jordy Chandler. If he was innocent, he should have spent that money protesting his innocence through the courts.
He's a dodge-pot, Plain and simple!

Re: Wacko Jacko - will he walk free?

The poll should have a 3rd option.

"Will Jacko's money talk, and buy his freedom?"

Being guilty is different to being found guilty.

Re: Wacko Jacko - will he walk free?

He's apparently planning a tour if he wins, because it's cost so much for his defence team.

Not voting, l don't know the facts, and it is quite serious whatever the outcome.

sadly i think he ll get away with personally i d string him up and cut his balls off

Re: Wacko Jacko - will he walk free?

Like garinda says we don't really know all the facts so it's impossible to make a sound judgement.

If he is guilty I'd like to think he'll get a custodial sentence.

Re: Wacko Jacko - will he walk free?

Well, the current prosecution case is making heavy weather of it...looks like these kids have made similar accusations before, and it is on their evidence that the prosecution case will stand or fall, irrespective of his past "form". My own belief is that he's guilty now and he was guilty then (when hush money was paid) and I'd like to see the scumbag locked up for 30 years in the toughest State Pennitentiary. However, I suspect that given the machinations of the Califonian legal system, the guy will strut from the court house a free man.

Re: Wacko Jacko - will he walk free?

Honestly i think he is innocent. this boys mum has had a case where she tried to sue somebody thrown out of court before. i think he is just very childlike. even if he does walk free this will never be forgoten and just because of some money grabbing womem he was a great entertainer probably one of the best and this is the thing that should never be forgotten.

Re: Wacko Jacko - will he walk free?

I dont know whether he has done it or wheter or not its just people out to make money and grab a moment of fame. If he is found guilty I can hardly see him getting banged up, and if he did I doubt it would be in the surroundings most inamtes find themselves in.

Re: Wacko Jacko - will he walk free?

Though I think Michael Jackson is as mad as a hatter, a pervert i'm not all together convinced about. I think if he's found guilty throw the book at him, especially has he has used his fame to access and gain the trust of these children and many others! But in his defence if he was innocent the first time he may have payed the boy off, because, as we all know throw enough mud some sticks. But that has left him open to a second accusation and maybe all these people were hoping for was an extortionate pay off, that has concluded in a court case. I'm hoping whatever the final verdict it isn't money that talks it, truly reflects whether this crime was committed or not and that justice prevails on the innocent party, whoever that may be.

Re: Wacko Jacko - will he walk free?

I tend to agree with Tinkerbelle on this one.

It would seem from the news that the boy has lied before under oath, and that the magazine that he was shown was published 6 months after they left Neverland.

I know the defence's job is to discredit the witness for the prosecution, but they are being rather successful at the moment, don't you think?

Re: Wacko Jacko - will he walk free?

I too am unconvinced of his guilt. He is certainly guilty of naivety and perhaps even stupidity, but these are hardly offences one would expect to go to jail for.

Re: Wacko Jacko - will he walk free?

I agree with Tinkerbell too. This is a man with serious problems, that's obvious, but I think he is utterly naive in his actions. I don't like him, in fact I can't look at him without feeling revulsion but that's concerned with his appearance. I can't help feeling that, if he were guilty of the actions he is charge with, he would have at least attempted to cover his tracks in some way. He never did. He assumed, as would a child, that the world would see what he did as perfectly normal, because he did.

I don't think we can pre-judge as we only know what the media has told us up to now. The courtroom is the proper place for evidence for and against him and the jury must be the final judge.

I am with Tinks on this too.

The really sad thing that this case brings out is............... Just how far "Modern" Society has moved away from such values as..........TRUTH, HONESTY and HONOR......

We will never know what the truth is, about this case or many other things in life because of the "WAY OF THE WORLD"....Sad days :(

The most dangerous weapon in the world is a LIE..

Guilty......

entwisi 09-03-2005 23:39

Re: Wacko Jacko - will he walk free?

Personally, I think he will be found Not Guilty. I believe he is a poor individual who through money and fame has never even seen the 'Real world'. I think that he is a child in a mans body, someone with an emotional age far below that of his accuser. It just goes to show that money is not the answer to all problems. When children play together there is no sexual connotation, that is purely adult. He is a child. He may be guilty of performing the same acts that children often do in 'Doctor and Nurses' games, but I believe he doesn't know them to be inappropriate for a person of his age.

So, Not Guilty for me.

In postscript, I actually feel sorry for the guy. He doesn't have any understanding of the world around him. He would be safer locked up or closely monitored for his own benefit.

Ian

I can't give you any Karma at the moment - need to spread it around, so I'll instead say that I agree with you as well!

Gobsmacked 09-03-2005 23:46

Re: Wacko Jacko - will he walk free?

If he is guilty of performing the same acts children do when they play "doctors and nurses" he cannot be deemed to be not guilty. If he has done something inappropriate he shouldn't have done it no matter how he sees it.

He sees nothing wrong with sharing his bed with a child. If I were to do the same thing I don't doubt for one moment that you would be appalled and quite rightly.

I think you are right Ian, he doesn't have a normal understanding of the world as the rest of us do because he has never lived in a normal world, but that doesn't make it right for him to abuse a child or children if this is what he has done.

Re: Wacko Jacko - will he walk free?

jackson didnt do nowt in my opinion and i am very much against perverts and nonces

he should have never paid that other kid off, he was a liar and so were his parents and it was proven with tapes of his father trying to black mail jackson by saying he would deliberatly set out to ruin his career and use any method he could to do it
, a whole load of other stuff i cant recall now but it definatly put tha kid and his parents as liars and theives

i suppose jackson didnt want the bad publicity of a trial and more harm to his career but paying that jordash boy just invited more fake claims and hes ended up in court anyway but jacksons defence isnt having to work too hard at destroying the oppositioin because its obvious to anyone those kids are lying

the dont recal anything

they mumble when giving testomy when questions get tough

that girl is 18 and at 18 if anyone had sexualy abused my brother i would have no trouble standing up in court and saying in a loud clear voice that there was the pervert who molested my brother

Re: Wacko Jacko - will he walk free?

I really don't know which way to vote on this one, so I am going to abstain for now. If he is guilty then he should be punished they same way as everybody else. People often comment on his childlike nature, but ultimately he is an adult and should know right from wrong. MJ clearly has enough psychological issues to keep a mental health professional busy full time. Maybe some of his money and energy should be directed not at children but at getting himself some form of psychiatric help.

Re: Wacko Jacko - will he walk free?

A man who admits to wanting to look like Diana Ross, a man who portrayed himself as a Christ like figure at the BrIts the other year, a man already tarnished with child abuse claims, a man who fathered children [supposedly] with a nurse he has no contact with.

Not sure of his guilt or innocence, but not who l'd get to babysit!

As of now, it's a 50/50 split poll.

Hung jury, we'll have to have a retrial!

Re: Wacko Jacko - will he walk free?

Interesting how we can have such opposing points of view isn't it? I imagine that whatever the verdict there will still be some people who feel that it's the wrong one.

I am not 100% sure yet, so i wont vote on the poll.

Re: Wacko Jacko - will he walk free?

l was on a jury, l didn't sleep all week and it was only a woman who'd knocked over a camera woman, l thought she was innocent the others didn't. l had to stand up and say we'd found her guilty by a majority verdict. l'm glad us lot aren't Jacko's jury!

I have also done jury service at burnley court, would not like to do it again.
