Re: Save Your Driving License
they have stuff like this on ebay lol
the only problem is if you get technical with a traffic cop he will go out of his way to find somthing wrong with your car and believe me even a car frsh out of the showroom can have a fault an example of the stuff been sold like this is .. if you get pulled for speeding ask if the officers car has had its speedometer callibrated that day as it is a requirement that they are if it hasnt he cant prossecute you because there is no way of knowing his speedometer wasnt wrong that day of course that only applys in the situation where a cop matches your speed to see how fast you are going like in the old days as they have radfar and stuff now if a double yellow line has a break in it through wear and tear no matter how small you can go to court and argue that it is an invallid double yellow line and will win a guy was on tv who photoed the worn yellow lines where he was given a ticket and pulled up the rukes and regulations for double yellow lines and has won every time hes gone to court lol |

Re: Save Your Driving License
Sorry park, ...but this is just another web site who's interest is making money! When you are clamped, your registration details are logged with the central control. If you use a hacksaw as recommended, you will find yourself in court for criminal damage which is likely to cost you far more than the original fine...but keep dreaming. ;)

Re: Save Your Driving License
We are all aware of the gadgets that pre warn us of speed cameras....and in most cases, they work. But are you aware that there is legislation going through at the moment to make these devices illegal? Now is not the time to invest in one...
We will have to live with bent cops and speeding fines :( |
Re: Save Your Driving License
better advice would be to get friend to dragg your clammed car outside of the clamping zone and sue for illigal imprisonment lol

Re: Save Your Driving License
Easy answer - don't speed!
That said, of course I do from time to time, but I do tend to keep it to safe places, like the motorway. I was once told by a traffic cop in Northamptonshire that they don't bother too much if it's reasonable and the road conditions are good, but he added "If, however, you pass me at 85, I will do something about it, because that is called taking the p***, Madam"! |
Re: Save Your Driving License
I have passed cops on the motorway doing 80, and nothing was done.
On another, entirely different occasion, I was pulled over for doing 41 in a 30. The police officer's comment was that if I had been going any faster I would have gone to court. I got away with it that time too...! I am generally much more careful about things like that now though |
