Jerry Springer the Opera

It seems that due to the pressures put on them by the Christian Voice lobby group quite alot of the theatres that were going to stage Jerry Springer the Opera have now pulled out. In a variety of threads on site people have been asking for HBC to import some fresh 'art' into the district.
May I now suggest that they (HBC) offer the Boroughs facilitys & have this piece of culture take place over the Easter holiday week-end in the open air on the Coppice. Plenty of room for every-one to sit & if it is as terrible as the Christian Voice says it is it won't be too far for us to go to the top of the hill to Crucify the Actors.

P.S. If they do arrange it don't forget your brollies!

I think that would be a really really good idea! I saw it when BBC2 screened it earlier in the year - it was a hoot from beginning to end! I would buy a ticket to see that!

Don't see the problem with the musical. If you have objections against it then don't go to see it.Problem sorted.
