dON'T REMIND ME!!!!!!!!!!! I am working on saturday til 8pm then supposed to be going out with the girls around accy, then up at 6am for a early shift but there is 1 hour lost inbetween all that:eek:

I was fitting a spur to the ring main curcuit but found that the wiring had deteriated so badly on the ring main that the insulation was falling away from the live and neutral wire. The condition remained the same further along the cable.

A complete re-wiring of the house is the only course of action....and quick!! :eek:
