Hurricane Mez hits London!
 

London has been hit by a hurricane, originating from Accy, officially known as Mez.

Hurricane Mez arrived in London late on Tuesday evening, and so far has wreaked havoc in Harrods and that well known eating-place, Sarastro (the prawns will not survive).

Tonight Hurricane Mez is joining forces with Tealeaf and Pendy to do an East End pub crawl - look out for scenes of devastation to follow......

I hope you don't collide with one of those 'Jack the Ripper' tours popular down the East End! Stick with modern dresses, DON'T wear long frocks!

Is the damage likely to be contained within London, or is it likely to spread to the Home Counties?

I did one of those a few years ago. It was actually very entertaining. The lady that took us was an actress and was superb at 'setting the scene'

As I was on a course down there it was better than sitting in a hotel bar on my jack.

Right everyone....first london meeting of Accy web will commence in the Dickens Inn, St Katherines Dock, at 6.30 pm tonight and will contnue amongst various riverside hostelries until we're legless, skint or chucked out at closing time..whichever comes first!

First meeting of Accyweb London Branch went very well - visited some great pubs and drank some good beer. Today Hurricane Mez is touring Lincoln's Inn and being a lady who lunches .....

Not sure about tonight - Soho is a possibility, but doubt if we'd make much at our age!

right you lot im on my last couple of hrs here in the very welcoming city of london,ive had a brilliant time, i didnt want to do the touristy thing, so ive mused about hither & dither ,seen some of london we don't uauallly see, have i enjoyed myself , put it this way, i need a rest when i get back, which is very late tonight, but i will be with you all tomoz DONT'T WORRY they dont want to keep me from you all ha ha ha , bye bye for now see you's tomoz, may i say thanks to tea for his tour of wapping on thurs night, VERY enjoyable ( the london extension of accy web he he he ) & especially pendy & david for the brilliant places they have taken me to . I STILL LOVE ACCY .

But as you know i was having a Accyweb Meeting of my own up in Edinburgh and we also had a great time.

London is gradually getting back to normal - people are emerging from the shelters, they would be blinking in the sunlight except for the fact that it is hissing down!

Mez - it was wonderful to have you, and you can come again ANY TIME YOU LIKE. They do say that if you want to return somewhere, you leave something behind .... I can either post your red jumper or bring it up next time!!

sorry lyndsay not yet , one or two pics just have not recovered enough to put them on yet , he he, still suffering aaaaaahhhh, but i had a great time, went round some pubs with tea too he's a good guide, as is david, (pendys other half) between them all they gave me one of my best hols iv'e had for awhile, but just got left with very swollen feet, ankles, & legs, ha ha ha

These pictures must be "before" hurricane Mez as everything seems intact - Pendy should put some "after" pictures, with the Londoner's trying to rebuild the city!!!
