Exhibition Of Johnny Nolan's Work at the H.A.G

Just a reminder that Haworth art Gallery is holding an exhibition of the work of Mr. Johnny Nolan which opens officially tomorrow and runs until the 1st of May. Well worth a look! If you manage to get there, put some posts up and let me know what you think. Thanks.

Quite a lot of Accrington's shoppers will remember Johnny Nolan's work which he had displayed on the stall he used to run in Accrington Market Hall.

His paintings were mostly portrait type but his best pieces were a unique type of sculpting called "Nolancraft" which he created himself, has to be seen to apprieciate it. Atarah's website, www.accringtonuncovered.co.uk shows a few details of his work with information about the great man himself.
