I work with disabled and elderly people and it's not an over night change but over the years it's made me think how life is short that you can be fit one day and struck down the next and money is'nt everything,I now live every day as my last as one day I'll be right!

Re: What changed your life?

Passing the D test to get into Nursing changed my life completely.......and for your faith in me Mr Winterburn........I salute you!
Passing my state finals was also a turning point. Being made a Ward Sister in 1980 was another big change.......being made Senior Sister in 1994..........that was also a turning point.
But the two things that have had the most impact on me were....getting married......and the death of my Dad.
Getting married because it was something that looked unlikely.
Losing my dad gave me a different perspective on life.......material things don't matter so much.......after all there isn't much you are going to take with you in your coffin!
