my main moan is that a driver would get 7 sets of points and 7 fines for speeding through 7 cameras yet a burgular can commit 7 burgularys and get them all rolled up into 1 offence
each crime should have been given its own punishment s what i am trying to say |

Not if the judge says that they should be served concurrently, it would only mean ten years if they were to be served consecutively. 5x2 year sentences served concurrently = 2 years (or 1 year if paroled). |

Maybe offenders should be used in clinical trials, drug research etc. It would save the poor animals that are used.
