went to a wedding tonight down at the dunk beautiful building and you think you are going top notch,forget it i will never step in that place again.You get served a finger buffett!ooops! we have no napkins to wipe your hands,quiche ooops sorry still half froze but we will put it out anyway,lovely baked potatoes with a spicey filling !cant get a knife to cut them into edible pieces,watched the england ladies walk past and thought to myself how do they get on in here, the gent whos wedding it was spent just short of ten grand and for what sorry dunkenhalgh goodbye.

I have had similar experiences at the Dunkenhalgh. We have had Christmas parties there from work. Another thing that I noticed was the cost of your round of drinks goes up as the night goes on. On the second party I attended there, I asked for a receipt for my first round and brought it out at the end of the night when they tried to charge me £2 more for the same round....:D

I bet you would find the same amount of money went into the till all night for your round of drinks. I used to work in a hotel function room bar when I was really young. Some of the iffy staff would charge extra to people who they thought would not notice and pocket the extra.

aint been in the dunk for over 20years it was crap and overpriced then-obviously hasn't changed staggers!
