Oswaldtwistle Players are holding auditions for their next production soon. If anyone is interested send me a message and I'll email you all cast list and synopsis.

A bit of a reminder - first read through for You Never Can Tell is on Thursday 14th. The read through is for people to find out more about the play and it's not actually a casting session - that will take place the following Tuesday. Read throughs give everyone a chance to hear the play and to decide which characters they're interested in reading for.

We're particularly looking for four younger people 18-25 for this play so if you know of anyone who might be interested please let them know to come along.

No, and not entirely sure what you're getting at. If you're trying to take another dig at the Vagina Monologues then for your information - yes, we will be performing that again next February.

If your after auditions for the Vagina Monologues I can't promise anything but I'll have a go at getting my tongue 'round it!

By the way I don't think Cashman was having a 'dig' just a quick 'poke'.

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I've answered this before so stop stirring it.

The licence is free from the author, the room costs £30 to hire, the posters cost £80 and we made £430 on ticket sales. That's a big fat profit of £320 which we gave to Accrington's Womens Centre so they could spend it on their violence against women programme.

It's a well-known old joke Gayle but then maybe it's too old and there's only a few of us go back that far.

Well I'm too old to audition and my kids are too young but good to hear that it will be profitable.

I do enjoy a good AmDram.

You are not too old. There are other parts - I was just pointing out that we have a real shortage of younger women and men in our society for the George Bernard Shaw play. If you're interested in am dram, then of course, you can come along and read through.
