Burnley Balloon Festival

The Burnley Balloon Festival is back again. Thompson Park. Fri29th -Sun 31st July.
I havn't been but the lads I used to work with say its brilliant. Plenty for the kids to see, Thomas the tank engine,meet Bertie Bassett, firework displays, a cash drop from a hot air balloon,win cash(hundreds). BEER tent. 2BR radio show with (pop idol) karaoke. Sky diving team and motorcycle display teams. Thats all I know about it from 2BR if you want to listen for more details its 99.8fm. :D

Dont forget this hot air balloon festival. Take the kids and have a good time. I know it means crossing the border but there is a beer tent for the adults as well as loads of stuff for the kids. Go on have a day out in a foreign land. :p
