U can't get any new place in Accy booming, it just will never work. Unfortunatly people in Accy are very stuck in their ways when it comes to nightlife (I'm one of em, do the same route every week) and also refuse to pay to get in, but if this DJ's offer stands.....

Well I work with one of the bar staff from there, and please can you lot stop sending her into work at 8am knackered :D:D:D

She has placed alot of posters in our staff room ( knowing damn well we are all alcho's):rolleyes: and me and another mate are very much up for the 80p a pint night on thursday nights. We were going to go tonight but home life got in the way. But hopefully this could be the place to be on a thursday night from now on.:D

Well Accy web actually went to La de dars for one of our accyweb meets a good time was had by all we also got a free drink each!

Totally agree.Why pay to get in somewhere?most of the other bars are open till 2am anyway....:D

il stick too great harwood thanks....no fancy new nightclubs.no extortionate prices and no entrance fees....just good honest down to earth people,FANTASTIC beer ;) and open till late (and later if you know the right place :D )

God its years since I went down Great Harwood, my Dads band used to play there a lot (at what was Baggys) used to ave a cracking nite!!

I had no idea if Baggys was still there. I know it closed down 4 a bit, but we are talking a long time ago, cracking little place. My Dads band was called Nobodys Hero's they played Jam, Clash, Buzzcocks etc...

oh yeah i remember them and so too will 95% of the people in baggys if you ask em ....a quality band ...allways a packed night in baggys when they played....although not my type of music i gotta admit i danced about abit or was that bounced about .:D

unfortunatly not. Mac the lead singer moved to the Channel Islands. My Dad is Gary the drummer, hes in another band now they do similar music, they called The 3:16.

nor me sounds like a genuine rip off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! long live free entry to pubs and clubs just part of rip off britain culture pay over odds for drinks and have the cheek to charge you to get in ha ha ha ha them days have gone if everybody boycotted them they would sit up and notice.....
