Bonfire Night?

Does anyone know if there are any organised displays or bonfires arranged in the area this weekend? I know there's the usual at the Plough in Ossy, but it's always packed out and can never get to the bar!

We went to Witton last year, it was a real wash out because of the rain, they couldn't get the fire started!! :(

It was a real shame, because the bonfire was huge and there was a lot of disappointed kiddies, mine included :(

Its put me off going again this year, not just for that but we spent a huge amount of money on the fair and everything else, just isn't worth it. The fireworks were nice though

There's one at The Whittakers Arms, Burnley Road tonight and at Hyndburn Bridge, Clayton tomorrow night. Won't be going out at all this weekend though, it'll take me all me time to keep the dog calm, poor thing he's terrified.

Poor thing - I feel sorry for all the little animals. My guinea pig Suzzie hates it, she just sits with my dad though and he calms her down. Its been on the news about animals having tranqualisers to help calm them.

Yea, I've been to the vets and he's been put on some tablets to calm him, they do help a bit in that he's still scared - he's just not sure why :) Ah well, the tele will just have to be on a full volume this weekend to try and drown them out :)
