Accy (C)ROCKERS double header
 

One strand of mi Dad's strategy to extend his mid-life crisis indefinately encompasses playing the drums in a local band. To show their appreciation to their fans (both of them - assuming they're still alive) they've taken the unprecedented step of adding two more dates to their world tour of Hyndburn appearing with a few other crusty yet talented old gibbers under the guise of The Accy [s]C[/s]ROCKERS this weekend. Friday night they'll be blasting out an eclectic mix of tunes including queen, free and the shadows (but no JAM - sorry!) at the Oswaltwistle Con. Following on from this on Saturday, they're playing at Accrington's Marquee The Popular Club. I dunno why I'm advertising this, I'm only encouraging him (not that he needs any with his Hard Rock Cafe stars and bars drums sticks and sleeveless biker T-shirts). There has to be a limit to everything - if he ever wears a leather waistcoat I'll disown him :D
