Mez, though I have never managed to get to any of the meets...it is perfectly obvious from the comments after the meets, and oh yes, the pictures...that you did a brilliant job. You deserve a medal.
Hope that you will continue to get to the meets(whoever take s over your crown)...and who knows one of these fine days I might even get to meet you myself. God Bless.

Aww Mez, that is bad news..:( but you have earned a rest and the right to let someone else do the legwork. I will be working on the last Saturday of this month but am happy to arrange a meet for one of the other months. I reckon that we should perhaps start taking turns at the arrangements if other members agree.

I don't think any of us will live up to you though Mez..:help:

Awww mez, I'm really sorry to hear that :( You where the first person to greet us when we attended our first meet and made us feel very welcome.

Anyone taking over the meet arrangements has got some very big boots to fill

AWWWWW Mez thats so sad to hear.. hope your ok hun .i will never forget you and mick were the first two people i met when i joined aw ... you always have done a great job although i can understand how much hard work you put into making them all great nights... so heres some karma for you ,and hope you take a well deserved rest ....good luck and thankyou

I know sometimes it must be a thankless task, but on behalf of myself, and I'm sure everyone who has ever been to an Accy Web meet, thank you for all the time and work you put into organising them.

Your warmth, and sense of fun helped make them very special.:)

Now, will there be a May Meet or shall I hold off even longer making my travel plans?

Well i can help whoever takes it on but you need transport to get round to the places and i dont have a car .
Or i will do it if someone will run me round to the pubs to check them out.

The next meet should be on the 28/04/07 the last sat of the month
so this needs sorting soon folks

I can't remember if we were at the last meet or the one before it but if there was any trouble at the one we went to it must have been after we left because I don't remember any, The meets are usually friendly and fun, even amongst people who disagree with each other quite vociferously online. :(

I don't drive so I'd be no use offering to help Mick - I don't drink either so couldn't do any sampling. :D

The reason we go round Willow is to see if the pub is big enough ,they dont mind having us there,and they have nothing else booked for the night, and i do the sampling:D as whoever is with me will be driving

I don't know if we would be able to make it. All depends on when Busman is working but no matter what I may have disagreed with anyone about on the forum it doesn't carry over to a meet as far as I'm concerned. I would be happy to see anyone and everyone. :)
