Im not suprised some where out side with the reception some people got when they said hello to people inside. All me and flashy got was a grunt at best.

i must admit i wasnt best pleased myself, i thought the majority of you where ignorant last night, with the exception of rindy, lesley, neal, lettie and katex

BUT it as to be said some like it inside and some like it outside. It was nice and cool outside and abit stuffy inside so thats why some stayed outside

I do hope not Mez, and you won't give up on it. Whilst I love the Oaklea (hope we can have our Christmas do there again), suppose Accyjay and Kate have provided too good a smoking area. It is very open too and people will wander away to other places.

Perhaps your suggestion for the next meet could be more congenial to us; a small pub with a closed in separate room.

Even though was quite pleasant sat outside last night, don't think I will be popping out so much as the temperature drops and should it be rainy and windy.

Anyway, I had a lovely evening, even though someone must have moved the doorposts and caused my head to make acquaitances with it, nowt of course to do with the extra bacardis I had to tell the bar staff to put in my drink 'cause they put too much coke in there... :D:D

Oh sorry I misunderstood. I thought you'd sounded disappointed. If we'd been there I probably would have stayed inside, not because I'd have been avoiding the smokers, I would just have preferred to be in the warm I think.

Even before the smoking ban there have been meets where people at one table haven't spoken to people at another table all night, purely down to location. I remember one time when we were sort of sitting behind other people's backs and all the chat was in the opposite direction. Had to keep straining me lugs and trying to lip read. :D
