Sailor Beware - Ossy Civic

You`ve got 3 nights in which to catch this little gem.
I went along tonight and really enjoyed it.
Once again an excellent performance by the entire cast.
I wont say too much about the plot except that it revolves around a young girls impending marriage to her sailor fiance and the unfortunate young man`s attempts to come to terms with her family in particular his mother in law to be.
There`s some great comedy delivered at quite a fast pace, some very typically Lancastrian humour and a few truly class lines.
I`d recommend you check it out while you can especially people who don`t do theatre, you might enjoy yourself :)

I'm going on Friday.

It's the first one of Ossy Players plays that I've hardly been involved in for about 15 years so I'm really looking forward to being just part of the audience and watching it for the first time.

Gayle, yer mum was fab., best part she has done. Great to see Graham Robinson back on stage .. done many a show with his dad. They were all excellent ... good team work.

I can't get to this one but I've been to several Ossy Players productions and I've never seen a bad one. They've all been excellent.:)

That's a good review ??? She just told the story, not a crit at all.

Well, on the plus side, they did get it in today, to give us advertising for the following three nights.

Well okay she told the story but saying a performance is "slick" says it is good IMHO:p
