I know I cant make it to a lot of the meets but the ones I do make I enjoy, the Stag was great and it'll take some beating but I think a permanent home will make a difference to some.

I enjoyed the ones ive been to. I cant get to them all because i dont know whether im going to be well enough to go. I know spug enjoys them so count another vote in for them please.

I know I don't attend meets as much as i'd like, but as I work in a pub its very difficult to get the time off, and as on a Saturday night I am on the bar on my own so, the Landlady has to get someone to cover me.

But the few meets that I have attended have been a lot of fun, and have met some great people. I would be a shame to give them up all together. Because I can occasionally get to some.

In my absence at the meets I would be more than willing to help arrange a few.

Why don't we take over the Stop one night? Then you can be at the meet and still work :rolleyes::D

I'm sure Janet & Roger would be more than happy to allow a meet there. But I wouldn't be bloody working!!! :D

It's a shame about the Stag because I do agree about how cosy it was. We were sometimes a bit squashed and seemed to take over the whole place! It was a god location too, not too far away for most people. I wonder when the Stag is ever going to re-open and if it will be as good.

Please don't stop the meets though even if we don't always get to them, it's nice when we do.
