Re: Colin Fry

A couple of friends of my mothers went to see Colin when he was at Manchester in November. Their husbands went along too, but all the way to manchester they(the men) were very scathing, telling the women how gullible they were.
One of these men got a message from his father, who died many years ago.
The chap was told about a box of war medals that were in a drawer at home.
he was gobsmacked because he couldn't see how Colin Fry could know about them.
Anyway Colin went on to tell the chap to look under the lining paper and he would find a letter that his father wrote when he was dying, telling this chap why he was leaving his medals to him.

This chap spent all the journey home weeping......and when he got home he looked in the box, under the lining paper and there was a letter from his father.....this made him weep even more. Now he is not scathing about the possibilies of the after life or spirits.....he knows it was his father who passed on this information because no-one else could have known.

thats made me get all goosebumps margaret, it would be nice to know, especially for my mum, shes hoping there is something 'there'

Margaret Pilkington 24-02-2008 19:44

Re: Colin Fry

Well, I am going....and I hope that I hear from my dad. He died 16 years ago and it will be his anniversary on Tuesday....but if I don't get a message it doesn't matter...I know that other people may have more need of contact than me.

Twenty quid for this old rubbish? How can anyone who would claim to be sane admit to forking out good money to partake in such buffoonery?

Margaret Pilkington 26-02-2008 19:01

Re: Colin Fry

You are entitled to your opinion.......and I could be spending money on something far worse.

panther 26-02-2008 19:34

Re: Colin Fry

Margaret Pilkington 26-02-2008 20:06

Re: Colin Fry

I was thinking the same, give them a ring JJ and let me know if they have any left (although it would be even more expensive for me after paying a sitter aswell lol)

Margaret Pilkington 08-04-2008 10:26

Re: Colin Fry

I don't think they are JJ......the last time I looked there were still some for sale...this was only a couple of weeks ago.

Margaret Pilkington 08-04-2008 10:29

Re: Colin Fry

Re: Colin Fry

panthar

what if just by chance he happens to mention somethign which coincidentally relates to ur mum? if i have an audience of say 2000 ppl then chances are becky will have a connection with one of them...

cold reading is quite scary when done professionally.

though i mite actually go. u never hear asian names mentioned in such places though.

Margaret Pilkington 10-04-2008 07:48

Re: Colin Fry

Mani, that might be because it is very rare to see Asians at such events.
It is no point an asian contact coming through if there is no one to accept the message.

Maybe the spirits of the people we love congregate at such events because WE are there.

Re: Colin Fry

believe me

asians are much more into this stuff than u can imagine!

black magic and stuff like that is RIFE

Margaret Pilkington 11-04-2008 07:57

Re: Colin Fry

Mani, that may well be so, but they do not appear to attend these events.
Maybe there is a language barrier.....maybe they only come through to persons who can speak their native tongue and understand the culture.

Jae.. these readings can put peoples minds at rest and give people hope. They can help as part of the grieving process and give people closure after a sudden or tragic death.
Please dont belittle other peoples beliefs just because you dont believe.
