Has this so-called 'Fair' got anything to do with all those ghastly vehicles parked up next to the railway station car park? I trust they have not yet obtained HBC permission for this grubby money-making enterprise and the council kicks them off before they begin.

Surely there wouldn't be so much advertising if they hadn't been given permission

Isn't the fair here every year?
Has been as far as I can remember, they just change the place

It's been in a few places since it used to be on Ellison's Tenament - which must be at least 25 years ago. None of them have been satisfactory, least of all this site.

Why go and fund a load of gypo's ?

It just ends up full of little moronic kids fighting, swearing, and generally causing a nuisance.

Re: Accy Fair

Well, I managed to get to the fair today :D

It was my first time on the Gravity wheel. I was always dubious when I was a kid, wondered how the hell you didn't fall out when nothing was holding you!!

Well it was great and I ended up on it twice :D

Went on the Miami and the spiders!! That was all that was there for adults really ( don't do bumper cars, nearly knocked myself out last time )

Well I had a great time :D

Nipped to the Railway for a pee and half a lager, then went back on the rides.... bad decision :o felt sick as a dog for half an hour when I got home :D

slinky 16-03-2008 18:44

Re: Accy Fair

By Christ, I'm in pain today :o

My Hip, bottom and spine are killing me!!! Ginger said I have bruises on my Bum and back!!!

It was all great fun though, I would go again today lmao
