Re: meet & natter.

I had a good time even if I did not get there till about 10pm.

I was about to leave home when a friend called me (a friend in need is a pain in the ass and all that), he had a flat tyre and wanted me to change it for him. How he has managed to drive a car for over 30 years and does not know how to change a tyre is a laugh.

Seeing as I started my night out with a good turn I finished it with one by giving HR a lift home. A true gent I am :D

Sorry you could not make it Gary, we were all looking for you and a couple of people had been phoning to see if you were ok.

When the breathaliser was introduced 2 pints was the limit advised.
I rarely visit public houses, so I wasn't aware that the guidelines had been 'finetuned'.
The NHS unit calculator shows me that I consumed point .3 over the recommended units.
So I accept my wrist well and truly slapped :(

Great pics. At first I was disappointed that some of the early pics. didn't have names to faces. I was then really surprised how many of you guys I recognized. Gosh it made me over ready for another trip over. Glad to see Mumzy Mez having such a good time. Lots of nice smiles and laughter eh?

Also come to realize Nettie/Jet is Mez' Jeanette (who along with Harwood Red and Phillip attempted to steal my innocence at that Blackburn Rave), "met" Roman, and enjoyed all the above posts about the evening.

Just as soon as I find a rich benefactor Cashy! However, I am helping out another Lancashire Lass (from the Funtrivia site) with a ride from DC to Manasses tomorrow. For payment she has met my request for Eccles Cakes, Pontefract cakes, and St. Anne's Rock. I had requested Blackpool Rock of course but she said that this was the best she could do. Am I being ripped off or is this stuff as good as "the real Rock?":p

I look most forward to hearing her and her friends Lancashire accents. It'll make missing my Accyweb family in-the -flesh (so to speak) a bit easier!

Thanks for the thoughts Mate!
