Round 2 - Uk Hovercraft Racing Championships, in Oswaldtwistle. May 23rd to 26th 2008.

To be held @ Magnolls Farm, Haslingden Old Road, Oswaldtwistle, BB5 3RF.
With over 50 hovercraft racing in various classes (F1, F2, F3, Juniors & Novices).The public will be able to view the action, and meet the drivers & constructors. The parking & entry is £3 per adult & £1 per child.

This is a fun day out, for all the family.

I have been to this before, think it was in 2005.... absolutely fantastic, and can't wait for it this year!!!

There are plenty of girls go!! I went a couple of years ago with Ginger and our lads.... I thought it was a bot thing, but believe me, it's great!!!! Them things can fairly shift!!

That says racing starts at 11

Nothing about when it finishes tho

Just to let everyone know, it has been cancelled today, so don't bother going if you was gonna.

The winds are 45MPH up there today, and some poor lad is in hospital with a broken hip, due to the craft flipping him out this morning due to winds.

They have said they are holding a meeting at 9:30am tomoz to see if they are going ahead with tomorrows racing!! But the forecast for winds is higher tomoz, but who listens to forecasts?? haha So we'll see.

Well, I'll soon find out if kids come home. They set off to go watch ages ago. May just give 'em a quick call to see if they there yet and if it's on.
