Re: Free Tickets to see Echo & The Bunnymen
used to be a big bunymen fan and saw them at king georges in 1986.
the first 45 minutes of the set last night was really great.i was singing my head off.plenty old stuff, album tracks and plenty of big hits. didnt enjoy the latter stages though.they went like a tribute band.and i was shocked that they didnt end with the cutter has they usually do. cant complain for free though can you :) we had a good time on the whole i wish they still had it in witton park but cant wait for next years. o and maulpa were good as well |

Like I said earlier the only thing that slightly disappointed me with McCulloch was no Lips Like Sugar. I liked the solo stuff he played like Arthur and his Leonard Cohen cover 'Lover, Lover, Lover'. The David Bowie and Lou Reed numbers were good too. Enjoyed it a lot :) |
Re: Free Tickets to see Echo & The Bunnymen
The worst band you have ever heard?
Were you at the same gig? Keane and Rick Wakeman? Where on EARTH do those comparisons come from? |
Re: Free Tickets to see Echo & The Bunnymen
Err... from listening. Or rather, being subjected to it.
