Fun for all, community festival with free activities including arts & crafts workshops, live music, street theatre, climbing wall, bowling competition.

Get a number 6 or 7 bus and get off at the Albion

Walk down Pickup st, where Pizza Time is

Ya'll see Co op, Spar, keep going

Right at the bottom of Pickup St is Mercer Park

OR (there's always some clever sod who knows better isn't there ..:D), if it is an M & M bus, this terminates at the Forts Arms, and the main gate is only about 100 yards diagonally across.

Good weather forecast Accylass ... may take a walk up there myself ... sounds fun. :mosher:

Yeah I knew about this bus but it aint as regular huh and I use a bus pass cos of the school run, so need to get the 6 or 7
Just find em more convenient:)

You are probably correct re. the M & M bus Accylass ... just got on it the other week .. using me bus pass for the first time, after taking car up for service in Ossy. Just caught the first one that had Clayton-le-Moors on it. :o

or or orrrrrrrrr, Em could always get the bus to SPARTH ROAD, MICHELLE and walk straight along instead of taking her around half of clayton to get her to the park :D ;);) lol

If ya get off at the Albion and walk down Pickup St, it will take ya to the top of the park

If ya get off at Sparth House and walk down Sparth Rd, it will take ya to the bottom of the park

The weather makes all the difference, doesn't it.

Very pleasant afternoon, and lovely to meet you Accylass and see Mumtotwo again, plus the children. Flashy, of course, and Reece ... hope you get home OK on yer bikes.

What I like about these events is that you see people you have not seen for ages, even though they only live a few hundred yards away.

Can still hear the music now from where I live.

just got back now, took us 45 minutes to get back cos its all up hill on the way back...what a beautiful day its been, nice to see you Kate and Chelle and Mumtotwo, didnt see any other accywebbers there though, its been a great day in the park, it all seemed really peaceful and happy :D


i'm a bit buggered now though :D

It was a really good day, so good my son was asleep 5mins after he was in bed :D
