Eating Out - English!
 

'erindoors and myself have decided to take our parents out for a meal. Now we'd just pick any old restaurant for ourselves but our parents are strictly English meals only and would never dream of a curry or pasta or noodles.
So, apart from the crappy style carvery places such as Mother Redcap and the Gamecock, where in Hyndburn can we go for a decent 'English'??

Been told Duckworth Hall is good but not managed to get there myself yet

Coach and horses is good.. Duckworth Hall..wasn't too impressed with their slow service. but could be under new management...2 years since I was in. :)

The one that used to be the Lidgett is supposed to be very good, have never been but heard some great reports about it:)

I know it's not in accy, but try the Willows, and it's buy one get one free for the meals too.

We went the other aftenoon and it was great

I know this one is not in accy either, but try the Aspinall Arms just pass mitton fold, we went yesterday and it was packed out. I think they have a new chef and we had to wait to get a parking space, it was a very friendly place and catered for families too.

I know its not Hyndburn but `The Calfs Head ` in Worston is very nice indeed and a great location too.:D
