Eating Out - English!

'erindoors and myself have decided to take our parents out for a meal. Now we'd just pick any old restaurant for ourselves but our parents are strictly English meals only and would never dream of a curry or pasta or noodles.
So, apart from the crappy style carvery places such as Mother Redcap and the Gamecock, where in Hyndburn can we go for a decent 'English'??
Thanks in advance!

That one is crying out for a joke. Not many otters seen around there lately, but according to the article in the Obby last week, about the painting...:hidewall: oops. runs and hides.

I know this one is not in accy either, but try the Aspinall Arms just pass mitton fold, we went yesterday and it was packed out. I think they have a new chef and we had to wait to get a parking space, it was a very friendly place and catered for families too.
