They have one in the town centre too, minus the bonfire tho lol

Last year they had 107 The Bee hosting the evening

They had a Spice Girls tribute act

Firework Display from the Arndale which was really good

And other stuff too

But agree the one at Accrington Cricket Club up Thorneyholme Rd is a really well organised event, well worth a visit!

Keep a look out for notices, there are normally plenty of them
Hopefully the shows are on different days so ya could go to both!:D

Re: Bonfire / Fireworks Display

It was fine last year , has rained on a couple of occasions but it doesn't spoil the fun, there will be fariground rides , food and a bar. The fireworks are usually very spectacular, a really good night !:)

Re: Bonfire / Fireworks Display

is there usually an entrance fee?

buttonsmum 02-10-2008 20:22

Re: Bonfire / Fireworks Display

There usually is, but it is normally only about £2 for adults and always well worth the money.

The bonfire at Accy Cricket club is usually pretty good. But leave the car at home cause its absolutely manic up there. Its on 1st November.

Drivers stay clear of acre, rising bridge and surrounding areas - winfields are doing their fireworks and funfair again on thursday night. That includes the highway in the sky - cos people normally park anywhere and everywhere that night and park on there.
