this highly successfully event takes place every year this year there will be a BBQ to ensure you lot don't get hungry :) kids are welcome as long as they are supervised by adults fireworks begin at 7:30 so get down early as to avoid disappointment |

I couldn't comment as I wasn't there but someone wrote to the Observer last year suggesting that it was less than well organized and a firework hit her child's buggy wheel. Plenty of people wrote back to state the opposite but maybe they just don't want the hassle again. Shame. |
Re: firework display 5th november
To be quite honest if I want to watch a fireworks display, all I do is open the kitchen curtains, pull up a stool, open a nice bottle of wine, close the kitchen door, and just look down Merlin Drive, its very spectacular, on both November the fifth and New Years Eve,sorted;)

Was great when we lived up on Warwick close, top of Church, for the millennium fireworks. Could see the whole town... spectacular! all from my living room window, lol:) |
Re: firework display 5th november
I have had a good view of fireworks until this year - the trees around my place still have lots of leaves this year which block my view - it must be global warming that is upsetting the seasons.
