Oaklea on Whalley Road

Went in the Oaklea tonight for tea,to find they have changed it al, they have made the restaurant area smaller and put double doors on it..

The other half of the restaurant has been made into a games room with pool table and darts board. It looks really good.

We always seem to have a good meal when we go in there.

I haven't eaten there yet but went in for a couple of drinks for the first time on New Years Eve, not a bad place at all, the singer was good too.

I'll second that! Guinness is all very well, but it would be nice to quaff a couple of pints of Black Sheep (or similar) before the game!

Any real ale will do, I'm not fussy :D
Got a taste for the Sam Smiths stout in the Greyhound lately, and at £1.80 a pint :drink::drink:

Yep, it's good stuff. The problem is the bar-propping locals who seem to regard it as an imposition when they have to move slightly from their cherished spot because some impudent outsider actually wants to get served!

Your not impudent Wyn. The Black Sheep sounds great might have to take up drinking again.

Al, when you next come over to the mother country, there'll be a pint of Black Sheep waiting for you!

From what I can gather, it hasn't changed hands, just had bit of a re-vamp.
