The Lancashire Society
 

I have had word that The Lancashire Society has recently been formed. It is a follow-on from The Lancashire Dialect Society with a wider range of interests, though I am unsure just what it takes in. Details from:-

There is to be a meeting this Thursday (11th June 2009) evening in The Dressers pub, Wheelton. Any organisation that meets in pubs is awreight by me.
