Don't know who you are 'Jaysay' but my brothr Mick Ware lives just down the road from the Rhoden inn. You could go and give him a call!!!. and tell hime you've heard from me on the Net
I remember when the Catlows had the Rhoden Inn . Their late daughter Barbara was one of my best friends

I do know your brother, not well, used to go in the Rose and Crown and Black Dog years ago, Jack Catlow was a friend of mine too, did a lot of relief pub work in later life had some good nights with him, especially when he took over the Stop and Rest for a fortnight in the late seventies, that was a hoot:rolleyes:

I used to go out with their other daughter Kate, we went to Rhyddings School together.

Hi,

New here.

The Rhoden used to be my local. Had some great nights there & Sunday lunch playing darts for half pints. I lived in Trinity St. I remember the Catlows well (I was a bit sweet on Barabara as a teenager, she married Albert Dean, sorry to hear she died). Catherine was a looker, I think she took after her dad and Barbara took after her mum.
