Farmers Market and Family Fun Day

Having the first Gt Harwood farmers' market on Halloween, 9am till 2pm on the New Showground at Harwood Bar. With local produce and craft stalls, kids' competitions for carved pumpkin and fancy dress, face painting, apple bobbing, toffee apples, bran tubs etc. If it goes well hoping to hold market every two months next year. Anyone wanting a stall is welcome, will give contact no. if asked.

Addition to above! Red Rose Brewery, Harwood's own micro brewery are having a stand, offering four keg beers, one unnamed. There will be a competition to name it, with the winner having his/her pic. on the pump label and it will also be on sale at the Royal Hotel, where it is brewed, after Halloween.
