Best pub/bar in accy....................?

Not being an accy town centre regular, what do you lot think are the best pubs or bars......?

Don't ask me Pipin I ain't had a drink in Accy since 1987, in The Bridge on Church Street was my regular lunchtime haunt when Dave and Sue Johnson had it

Don't think there are any decent pubs in town, if i do have to go down town it's usually the Calder but even that is going down hill slightly. But start walking out of the town centre and you have the Black Abbey and the Swan which are both decent pubs.

I'd say no decent Town Centre Pubs anymore....Swan, Abbey, Arden...are fine Boars Head at a pinch...other than that your looking at the clubs ie Brooks, Sydney St, Stanley St, or in Ossy Rose and Crown, Stanhill or Stanhill WMC. Oh and Ossy Social...all depends on yer age too i suppose!

PS...Sue and Dave who used to have bridge are now up at peel park but thats a way out!

The Railway has some good entertainment on these days and as far as clubs go don't think you can beat the Canine:)

yep i agree with you beradette.canine rules ok..well backroom on saturday anyway.cheap enough has well

nags head always has a good atmosphere.hope n anchor is ok if a band on,not so if no band, calder ok friday/saturday.bit **** accy now though nowadays aint it...if you want late party stuff,its just geared for under 25's who turn up at midnight in centre

I believe the cabaret act at lunchtime is very good in the Railway Bernie:D
