To help get over the New Year blues, we at the Black Dog have booked a fantastic band called The Sugar Bullets to play on Saturday 15th January 2011.

Their music includes songs from The Jam, Sex Pistols, Sham69, The Clash, Ramones and loads more great bands.

So get over the middle of the month drag by popping down for a great night out with an amazing band.

Just thought I would give this a quick reminder. You dont have to be a punk rocker to enjoy good music so why not pop down to your local tonight, support the pub and support live music.

I'm not a punk rocker myself, but have seen the sugar bullets a few times at bike rallys, and they are a very good band, i would certainly recomend them. :D:D:D:mosher:

We are bringing Sugar Bullets back very soon! They were amazing!

We will have bands every week from now on. Some on Fridays and some on Saturdays. Check us out on Facebook or our website for details or pop in for an up to date band event list.

Next band is this Saturday night. Big Bang Theory, a local band are playing locally for the first time!
