Thanks for the positive comments and apologises for the long post, but i felt that i needed to ensure that everyone was aware how and why i was requested to attend the meeting and also that the motives are or the good of the town.

With regards to people going to Burnley, Several Licensees in Burnley are struggling as their Fridays have dropped and Accrington is becoming very busy on Saturdays.

I have sent an email today to the council requesting that they work with us and force the derelict buildings and windows in the take aways that have been broken to be fixed and smarten up the overall look
