Showing my age. I swam there in the early 70's as part of an Air Cadet team. Funny how you remember certain things, but i can remember i was in 1832 squadren, Harpurhey, Oh those were the days. :D:D

Went today - very interesting place and brilliant that a group of volunteers have managed to keep the place going!

went there years ago when it was one of the contendors in bbc restoration. I put leaflets through lots of neighbours doors to muster support/votes. I thought it won. It also featured in the life on mars series - spotted it in first shot or two. Is a fab place - baths that is not mars! ! ! Would defo go again

Hey, you're right! It was the winner of the first series of the programme. Was told it had been runner up in September 2003. Soz.
