Royal Oak, gonna be accyweb friendly

hi all, all been well, come Monday 25th March, i should be taking over the reigns of the Royal Oak in Ossy, i would like to invite you all to pop in and see me and make yourselves know, im planning on having a quiz/karaoke/opening night bash Easter Sunday, so if anyone can join us it would be great.

the pub is a little quiet at the min, but i aim to try and build up a good old fashioned "local", so please show your support and pop along and say hello

im also looking for any local bands/artist that want a gig to get in touch, im afraid im asking for freebies to start off with but if the night goes well the intention is getting you back for a paid gig!

so if anyone knows of anyone who may be interested pm me or pass on my email [email protected]

thanks, and hope to see you soon!

and no Less, there isn't a discount lol

Your friend's on here will make it Wheel Chair friendly if it gets you out, But we've been waiting years for your promise to get to the railway, we can wait a bit later or make it a pub crawl for you.

Which do you fancy first?

Royal Oak Or Railway?

:)

My best to you CFCR. Wainwright attracts me. Sometimes, esp in the warm weather, I salivate over the thought of having an East Lancs Pale Ale again

Re: Royal Oak, gonna be accyweb friendly

thinking about it there is a bit of a step going in, so it may be i need to get a little portable ramp made, just for john :)

Easter Sunday planning on a quiz like i say, so I'm hoping there will be an accyweb team entering?, then we will have "deal wi dazza", its like deal or no deal, only with 10 envelopes, im starting the jackpot at £100, and whatever tickets we sell on the night @£1 a ticket all go in the pot, then one lucky person has the chance of winning the lot, so approx £150 poss even more!

as you all know the pub trade is on its bum, so i appreciate anyone calling in for a nosey, even if your just coming in to say hello during the day, as i say you can have a free brew if you don't want beer, so that will rule Less n Mick out, but try your best and join me easter sunday for what i hope will be a "reet gud neet int pub", the more we get in the better the atmosphere the better the night the more people will wanna come back, so help out a fellow accywebber and show your support

as for the monthly meets, Im sure we can sort a tray of butties out if anyone fancies kicking it back off

ttfn, and thanks

Spooky that,;) I've just had an e-mail from ground control at my office in Herts.
"What do you want us to do with the disabled ramp you made us buy for the Farnborough Airshow D?"
You can have it on permanent loan Mr c we only need it one week every two years.:)
