Not seen it mentioned but if anybody is interested the Carnival is on Saturday June 15th.

This years celebrity is Michelle Keegan from Corrie

Michelle Keegan plays Tina McIntyre in "Corrie". As Mayor of Hyndburn I'm looking forward to meeting her on Carnival Day.

Forgot to add. The organisers are looking for people to help out. These helpers will be known as Carnival Makers ( slight variation on the Olympic Games Makers :) ).
