Film review The Incredibles
Had a great night out last night. Went to the Filmworks at Manchester to see The Incredibles. What a fabulous film.. Kids and Adults alike will enjoy this one, in true Disney Pixar style the animation is fantastic, the film is funny and action packed.
Mr Incredible and his wife Elastagirl are forced into premature retirement as superheroes. 15 years later they are living the suburban life with their 3 children Violet, Dash and Jack -Jack (the baby) Mr Incredible yearns for the days when he was a superhero, with his now boring job and expanding waistline he is not a happy chap, until one day he is called upon to save the world once again. The rest of the family have to use their special powers in order to save him. Really enjoyed this film. The only advice I could give is not to take young children as this film lasts nearly 2 hours which is quite long for a kids film. This film will have you laughing and gripping the edge of your seat. With it's loveable characters and pacy plot line this is definitely a must see.....:D |
Re: Film review The Incredibles
What more could I add? Lettie has said it all. Superb computer generated animation, a brilliant plot-line and endearing characters.
There is no let-up in the action, so even though the film is nearly two hours long, there is not a dull moment. The Incredibles is for Big Kids as well as little people. 70% of this film would be wasted on the young 'uns, but if you have no kids of your own, beg or borrow one, to be a perfect excuse to go and see Disney's latest offering. Or you could be like lettie and me; sod the excuse, just roll up and see it anyway. :D Marks out of five...     PS. Ben & Jerry's Dublin Mudslide icecream... ooo-la-la. ;) |
