hi, we will be meeting up for the next "meet" at the ARDEN INN abbey st accrington, it is a real ale pub, date: 26th FEBUARY
TIME: FROM 7---30PM ON WARDS. DAY SATURDAY EVENING. IVE got lots to discuss on next meet so hope we get a few new members will be there to discuss with us. KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN ON SITE!!!!!! |

Shame i wont be able to make it, i'm not back in england until the 8th of march. It would have been nice to meet up in The Arden. I used to work there about 3 years ago.

iv'e just got home wot a good meet again & may i say wot a pleasure it was to meet some of our "younger end" of accy webbers, wot pleasent happy people they are , hope you enjoyed the rst of the night gang we did
thank you one & all for turning up,& may i say thank you to the landlord & landlady of the arden for the food & service we got ...... great will no doubt see them soon, oooo & by the way we raised £17 for the parkinson disease society many thanks to all who bought tickets for the raffle. |

Sorry we couldn't stay longer we had told our friends we were only popping in for one beer and to have a look at you all, but those of you that I did manage to meet were all so friendly I wanted to stop :o !!! But it taught me a lesson don't make arrangements with friends on an accywweb meeting night. I am looking forward to next meet now and next time we will be able to stop :D !

Just a suggestion a good way to view the photo album is to use the slide show. By clicking on the slide show button it saves you the bother of having to click on every picture. The image below shows you where the button is. |

I'm NOT jealous just 'cos I couldn't make it, but obviously the Arden is not up to the normal standard for Accyweb meets, after all I know that all accyweb members are early to bed early to rise type people so when you see the time on the clock you know that it must be that they can't be bothered to put new batteries in it otherwise it would show a much earlier time than it does.:confused:

Great time last night,really enjoyed it,but not so much this morning when I had to go to work!Nice to meet people who you feel like you know already! Thanks to Nette & Len for the lift home.When's the next meeting so I can make sure I have the sunday off!!!

we changed the night of the meets cos a few were too "indisposed"the day after. we used to meet bout 2pm sunday afternoon & get home bout ?well after midnight / so we made it saturdays instead he he he he, we may still meet some sunday bank holidays but not often this year.

Yes once again a good time was had by all.
A big thank you to the landlord and landlandy for the sandwiches,pies and chicken they made for us. It was nice to see some new faces as well. |

I have to get up early(ish) on Sundays too (7:30am) so I need to be in bed before midnight. Even so, Saturday is my best day.
That chicken was delicious last night. Lol two "dos" in one day for me and Busman yesterday! |
