Most women in the UK do NOT wear the correct bra size.

I've just been watching Julie Birchall on Sky and she is definitely one in need of some uplift.

Most women are a bigger cupsize and a smaller bra number than they think.

So, for information this is what you should do.

Measure your rib cage under your bust. That is your bra number.

Then whilst wearing a bra, measure the largest part of your boobs. A cup is one inch bigger than your bra size, B cup is 2 inches, etc. If you're in between always go for the slightly bigger cup size rather than the smaller one.

Seriously, this can affect your health. The wrong bra size can give you back ache and permanent pains.

Don't know why I felt the need to share it with you but thought it might be useful.

No wonder women wear wrong sizes...there no measuring services where they sell lingerie & using the guides on the catalogues are small & hard to understand. The only place i found to do a free measuring service is mothercare - surprisingly:)

I had to make some shirts for the Beckhams, using some printed silk designed by my pal Julien Macdonald for Pucci. David was a doll, Mrs B was a nightmare, and wouldn't remove her sportsbra, which was definitely the wrong size.

It was the time when she refuted in the press the fact that she had a boob job.

Hard as iron.

Enough said.;)

lol...i went a little while ago as i thought i was wearing the wrong size...marks and spencers... but seems i am wearing the correct size!! who'de have thunk it eh??!!

well an ex of mine went underwear shopping with me and went round trying the bras on his head and if they fit he'd shout across the shop "This one will fit you!!!" :o
