After reading the why are men so happy thread, I thought it might help if the ladies on site thought about some positive things about being female. Come on ladies this is the start of your therapy.

If we wake up looking a bit rough we can put make up on and improve ourselves, with men it's as good as they get.

We don't have to wear ties.

Awful though it is at times, the feel of a baby kicking inside is amazing.

We live longer.

We don't have to pretend to like motor racing.

The effect of the push up bra on men!

We are sociable....................................

We can go places without feeling the need to spend 3 hours doing DE-tours to everyone else's house on the way.

When we say " I'm just nipping quickly" it means quickly, not 4 hours later.

We can grow our hair long, if we get fed up with the same look.

We are not in competition with our mates all the time. We can be happy for our mates, instead of wanting to be just like them.

We do things without moaning - not like fellas

We can wear anything we want - dresses, skirts blouses jeans trousers shorts jumpers etc while blokes only wear trousers or shorts (unless you're David Beckham in a sarong or a scots/irish man when they wear kilts)

We have handbags to carry stuff in - not bulging out the pockets on jeans/trousers

We can go out on a saturday nite with a tenner and come home with change even after paying for the taxi fare home.

Who is it the kids always ask for (mind you that might not be a good thing especially when theyve fallen in the pond and dripping wet and filthy!)

We dont talk about football as much as blokes we have intelligent conversations

We know how to let people down gently and be polite about it as well (until they dont get the message then we can be forthright)

This is silly.We are who we are born,it's not a competition.Male/Female,Black/White,Tall/Small,Able/Disabled etc etc.It's ok to have a bit of banter but if you are a decent person that is all that matters.The comparison should be made from the decent men/women,girls/boys to the scum we have to put up with in society these days.
