Accyweb Annual Awards 2005: Nominations Results.

Accyweb Annual Awards: Fun.

Many thanks goes to Gayle for taking the time and making the effort in organizing these Awards. Everyone that took part thoroughly enjoyed them selves.

Perhaps next time, given more time we may have more members being nominated and more votes being made.
Below is a list of shortcuts that will make it much easier for everyone to find the relevant threads as they will surly melt away into the abyss.

How can that happen Len?

Because you can't be specific to the hour when you want a poll to end. So although all votes were counted and verified at 8.30pm, the polls were technically open later.

What do you set for an end time?

Re: Accyweb Annual Awards 2005: Fun.

Two days after I opened the polls - so 48 hours after. I opened the polls early on Sat morning which meant that they were actually still open until first thing Monday morning.

I did say quite clearly that the votes would only be taken as at 8.30 last night and it would only have affected one result but someone must have voted after we'd started the ceremony.

I noticed someone has tied with me in the thread wander award.

All my fans knew the rules, and when and how to break them.:)

I hope you are not suggesting that I break rules!! Bend them a little maybe :D

I noticed when I was unsticking the threads/ polls that two or three of them where still open; this was at 6.00pm today, so I manually closed each poll in turn, just to make sure.
Anyhow it doesn’t matter now as the votes are in and at the end of the day it’s been a learning curve for everyone

It certainly has. I have learnt that by next year I need to have created 50 new members so I can swing the votes :D
