Moral Dilemma

What would you do?....:D

There is chaos all around you caused by a hurricane with severe flooding. This is a flood of biblical proportions. You are a photojournalist working for a major newspaper and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the water. Nature is unleashing all of its destructive fury.

Suddenly you see a man floundering in the water. He is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken down with the debris. You move closer. Somehow the man looks familiar. You suddenly realize who it is. It's

George W. Bush! At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to pull him under.

You have two options: you can save the life of George W. Bush, or you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize winning photo, documenting the death of one of the world's most powerful men.

So, here's the question and please give an honest answer:

Would you select high contrast colour film, or would you go with the classic simplicity of black and white?

Hmmmmm, It's a toughie, but I think classic black and white for me...:D

Save Geo W Bush thats the humanitarian thing to do then take a photo of him. A piture of the most powerful man in the world (alledgedly) in humble and disheveled state could win you the prize. Then again you might become the most hated person around. Its a tough chioce to make and either way would be life changing.

Black and White defiantly, it’s the stuff that made reportage frank and sincere and in my book will never be suppressed.

There is another dilemma here Lettie, how would one ensure the b****r went down for the third and last time……….

Re: Moral Dilemma

Definitely black and white for the more dramatic shots.

http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_13_13.gif With the new digital camera and software you can take it in colour and if you want change it to black and white later so no matter what you take it in its ok.
And if you have a tripod handy you could take a picture of yourself saving him
or with the software make it look like he drowned

Re: Moral Dilemma

hopefully you've got a digital camera that takes video - take a photo then set it to video and jump in and try to save him - if you save him he owes you for life doesnt he? think what you could do with that! and if he still goes under then you got the proof that you did try and think how much money you'd make a video of trying to save george bush!

Preferably take a black and white photo - they look better!
