Happy Anniversary to me.:)
 

A year ago this very night, I was sat in my lonely room surfing the net when I came across Accrington Web. I promptly joined, and merrily posted away into the wild, rainy night.


It's been a great year, and has made a big difference to my then sad little life, mainly through meeting and reading the thoughts of some wonderful people.

I've laughed, cried, had one or two romantic encounters, and been to some interesting places.

I've had temper tantrums, threatened to leave in a big queeny huff, wrote a journal for nearly a year, been told off for starting threads about pono fruit, been in a cyber garage of death, become a fan of Stanley through being taken by a member on here.

Members have helped me when l've needed it, I've made some great friends, and especially my two best friends who have helped me more than I can ever say. I've also been able to help other people sometimes- I hope.

So it's been a wild year, and one of the most interesting of my life, all thanks to my late night surfing last year.

So happy anniversary to me finding Accy Web.:)

yeah me too, so I have started to use my full daily quota in sharing mine in a positive light.... cos if i felt the need to deduct it of course I always leave my name!!! :) karma = what goes around comes around.

You’re the only ****** I know who can make an issue out of something we all have or have had. And you still manage to weave the K word into it for good measure. :rolleyes:

Well if it’s what you want so be it. I was tempted just to post the word “Bollocks” but I relented and will wish you a happy and fragrant anniversary. I hope you enjoy many, many more. :) :) :)

rindy ...ive decided you CAN read my thoughts ...you B****R i was only saying to mick & sarah the other sunday about the way things have turned out ......because of accyweb how people get on with posting...go off in a huff come back then nowts said (as though you havn't been missed) the meets which are fun..... the people we have met ...so now we know some of those we reply too & can be more risque (sp) with them, the friendship & help we give each other .... the laughs & pains we all go through together & most of all the joys of our youngest members being born ......... what a wonderful place accyweb is......... oh by the way happy 1st anniversary ......rindy .

Happy Anniversary Garinda, I've been reading the posts on this thread and two words come to mind that sum up the people on this site (no not those two), but seriously the two words are Gradely Folk, a better bunch of people you would be hard pressed to find anywhere other than good old Accy. Happy 1st Anniversary.
